VINEYARD: Vizinada position, planted in 2006, altitude of 260-270 metres above the sea level, inclined hilly terrain of S-SE exposure. White soil on flysch, fresh and deep. Excellent elevated position for white wines allows for full ripening and good accumulation of sugar while maintaining the distinctive varietal aromatics and freshness.
VARIETY: Pinot Gris
VINIFICATION: Manually harvested, careful pressed whole grapes to avoid extracting the colour from the skin, fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 14-16 °C, maturation on fine yeast precipitate (sur lie) for 4 months without malolactic boiling, aged in the bottle for a month after bottling.
RIPENING POTENTIAL: Enjoy immediately or store for up to 2 years
WINE DESCRIPTION: Crystal clear, of greenish yellow colour, fine aromas of white fruits, apple, pear, fresh, harmonious, soft on the palate, and of pleasant durability.
RECOMMENDATION: Enjoy chilled to 10-12 °C as an aperitif, with light pasta or risotto appetizers, accompanied by vegetable, white meat, fish, or seafood dishes.
