VINEYARD: Basarinka, Vodopija, Buveda, Faragude, Lokvadic positions, planted 2003-2006, altitude of 30-60 metres above the sea level, hilly terrains of SE, S and SW exposure, on red soil. Selected warm positions favourably affect the full ripening of Cabernet Sauvignon, giving small, well-coloured clusters of recognizable varietal aromas.
VARIETY: Cabernet Sauvignon
VINIFICATION: Fermentation with shorter maceration in stainless steel vinifiers at controlled temperature, complete malolactic fermenta- tion on fine yeast precipitate, bottled after 8 months of ripening in stainless steel, aged in a bottle for a month after bottling.
RIPENING POTENTIAL: Enjoy immediately or store for up to 3 years.
WINE DESCRIPTION: Deep ruby-red colour, black currant, blueberry, dark cherry, and pepper aromas, warm, soft, and strong on the palate, of pleasant durability.
RECOMMENDATION: Enjoy at 18-20°C with warm appetizers with meats, cold meat cuts and cheeses, various roasts, steaks, meat, or grilled fish.
